Topical Numbing

We use prescription strength numbing cream compounded specifically for our aesthetic procedures. The cream is applied to clean and dry skin and will remain in place for a duration dependent on the treatment and area of your procedure, typically 15- 30 minutes prior to lip injections and 45 minutes to one hour prior to skin resurfacing and laser procedures. After you are appropriately numb, the cream will be removed and skin is wiped clean before the procedure. The numbing effects may persist for a few hours, so patients are advised to avoid hot liquids or eating until normal sensation returns.
